(L)Tourism
(1) Passport
a) Original passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of application,with 2 or more blank visa pages.
b) Photocopy of the information page and extension page(if applicable) of the passport.
(2) Visa Application Form and Photo
* One fully completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo(full face,front view,and bare head, against a light background, size 48X33mm) attached. Photo requirements
*You should complete an Online Application Form (where a Visa Centre provides such service).
Please remember to bring the completed form to the Visa Centre to submit your application.
(3) Proof of legal entry or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship)
If you are not applying for the visa in the country of your citizenship, you must provide the original and photocopy of residence,work or study permit in Ghana with at least 6 months of validity.
(4) Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas (applicable for those who were Chinese citizens and have obtained foreign citizenship).
If you have obtained Chinese visas before and want to apply for a Chinese visa with a renewed foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you should present the photocopy of the previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. (If your name on the current passport differs from that on the previous one, you must provide an official document of name change.)
(5) For citizens of other countries, the following supplementary document are required:
The original and photocopy of residence, work or study permit in Ghana with a minimum validity of six months remaining.
2. Supporting Documents
1. An Invitation Letter for Tourist issued by an authorized tourism unit or individual in China.The invitation letter should contain:
a)Information of the applicant(includes full name,gender,date of birth, passport number,etc.);
b)Details of the planned visit(include arrival and departure dates,places to visit,accommodation arrangements,etc.);
c)Information of the inviting party(includes name of organization or person concerned,contact telephone number,address,official stamp of the organization,signature of the legal representative or individual).
The invitation letter may be in the form of fax,photocopy or computer printout,but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original of the invitation letter.
An issuer of invitation letter who is an individual in China should also provide a photocopy of his/her Chinese ID(both sides of ID Card).
2. Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record(round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation,etc.
3. Applicants should present Original Bank Statement within latest four months and the statement shall be signed and stamped by the bank. Not less than 60000 Cedis per person.
4. For applicant under 18 years old, the following supplementary documents are required:
a) The original and photocopy of the unabridged birth certificate of the applicant.
b) Photocopy of the parents’ passport or ID cards.
c) Notarized Parental Letter of Consent or the Affidavit from non-accompanying parent(s) authorized the travel. This letter or affidavit should contain the dates of travel and the parent contact information.
Notice:Group visa is not available.
(1) Invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but consular officers may require submission of the original of the invitation
(2) If necessary, consular officers may require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.
(3) Consular officers will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
