In order to further facilitate travel and exchange between China and Germany, the Chinese Embassy will reduce visa fees for China from December 11 2023. This regulation initially applies until December 31 2024. For citizens from Schengen countries with an ordinary passport, the visa fee is reduced from 60 EUR to 45 EUR per application. Other fees such as the Chinese Visa Application Service Center service fee and the surcharge for urgent applications remain unchanged.
