Holiday Notice (Heritage Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, National Day)

The Johannesburg Chinese Visa Application Service Center, as well as the visa offices in Durban and Cape Town, will be closed on 24 Sep(Heritage Day), 25 Sep(Mid-Autumn Festival) and from 1st Oct to 5th Oct  2026. Applications submitted close to the holidays will have their collection times extended.

Please note that application volume will be higher than usual around the holidays, resulting in longer processing times. We recommend that you plan accordingly and avoid peak application periods to minimize waiting times.
