Notice on Chinese Visa Application Service Center In Dhaka Accepting Chinese Visa and Consular Legalization Application
In order to better serve the people-to-people exchanges between China and Bangladesh, and provide applicants with more comfortable and convenient visa application condition and more professional and efficient consular certificate services, starting from April 11, 2024, the Embassy will entrust the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Dhaka (hereinafter referred to as the "Visa Application Center") to accept visa applications of ordinary passports holders, and legalization applications. Applicants shall log on to the Visa Application Center website (www.visaforchina.cn) to fill in the application form online and then go to the Visa Application Center for processing. The Embassy will no longer directly accept visa applications from ordinary passport holders and legalization applications.

In addition to the visa fee and express service fee collected on behalf of the Embassy, the Visa Application Center will charge a certain amount of service fee. For more information, please contact the Visa Application Center or view its website.
The Visa Application Center will be in trial run from April 11 to April 17, no service fees will be charged during this period, and will be officially open from April 21, 2024.
Please note:
1. Applicants holding diplomatic or service/official passports or applying for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or service visas shall still submit applications directly to the Embassy.
2. The Visa Application Center has no decision on visa approval. The Embassy will decide whether to issue a visa, its validity, duration of stay and number of entries based on the applicant's personal circumstances. The consular officer may request the applicant to provide additional supporting documents or supplementary materials according to the specific situation, or an interview.
