1. Basic Documents:
1. Passport. Original passport with at least six months of validity and blank visa pages.
2. ID Photo. A recent and color ID photo, facing forward and with white color background, and bareheaded, in 48mm x 33mm size.
3. Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those applying for Chinese visa who are not in their country of citizenship). For non-Bangladeshi passport holders, when you apply for Chinese visa in Bangladesh, you must provide the certificate of your immigration status in Bangladesh, such as citizen endorsement, residence, work permit or student visa, etc.
2. Supporting Documents
Applicants should present one of the following sets of documents:
1. Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit issued by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
2. Foreigner's Work Permit (* Please present the original and one copy of certification when submit passport at the Visa Application Center)
3. Registration Certificate of Resident Representative Office of Foreign (Region) Enterprise issued by Chinese authorities of industrial and commercial administration.
4. Approval for commercial performances issued by Chinese government authorities for cultural affairs.
5. Letter of Invitation for Foreigners Engaged in Offshore Petroleum Operations in China issued by China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
3. Special Reminder
1. The consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original documents.
2. If the applicant is a dual national or multi-national, please provide all current valid passports in his/her possession. Additionally, the previous passport(s) may also be required in support of the application.
3. If necessary, the consular officer will require an interview with the applicant or require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, i.e. naturalization paper, bank statement, tax report, proof of relation etc., which may not be listed in the website, in accordance with individual cases or different circumstances.
4. The consular officer will decide on whether issue the visa or not and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
*Please be advised that holders of D, J1, Q1, S1, X1, Z Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.
