(Q2) Family member or relative of Chinese citizen(s) or foreigner(s) with permanent residence status in China (no more than 180 days)

1. Basic Documents：

1. Passport. Original passport with at least six months of validity and blank visa pages.

2.ID Photo. A recent and color ID photo, facing forward and with white color background, and bareheaded, in 48mm x 33mm size.

3. Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those applying for Chinese visa who are not in their country of citizenship). For non-Bangladeshi passport holders, when you apply for Chinese visa in Bangladesh, you must provide the certificate of your immigration status in Bangladesh, such as citizen endorsement, residence, work permit or student visa, etc.

2. Supporting Documents

For relatives of Chinese citizens, please provide:

1. An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen (applicant's relative) who lives in China.

Note: invitation letter should be written by the inviter, do not accept invitation letter printed.

2. Chinese ID of the inviter.

3. Original copy of certification showing the family relationship of the applicant and inviter and certified documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh. (* Please present one copy of certification when submit passport at the Visa Application Center) 

4. Round trip air ticket.

For relatives of foreigners with Chinese permanent residence, please provide:

1. An invitation letter issued by a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent residence permit who lives in China.

2. Foreign passport and Certificate of Permanent Residence of Aliens of the inviter.

3. Original copy of certification showing the family relationship of the applicant and inviter and certified documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh. (* Please present one copy of certification when submit passport at the Visa Application Center) 

4. Round trip air ticket.

3. Special Reminder

1.  The consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original documents.  

2.  If the applicant is a dual national or multi-national, please provide all current valid passports in his/her possession. Additionally, the previous passport(s) may also be required in support of the application.

3. If necessary, the consular officer will require an interview with the applicant or require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, i.e. naturalization paper, bank statement, tax report, proof of relation etc., which may not be listed in the website, in accordance with individual cases or different circumstances.

4. The consular officer will decide on whether issue the visa or not and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
