Notice on Chinese Visa Waiver for holders of ordinary passports from six countries

From December 1, 2023 at 00:00 to November 30, 2024 at 24:00 (UTC+8, Beijing time), holders of ordinary passports valid from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia traveling to China for trade, tourism, family visit and transit purposes are exempt from visa requirements for up to 15 days. 

Holders of ordinary passports of the 6 above-mentioned countries who travel to China for any other reason or for stay exceeding 15 days as well as holders of service passports of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain must always apply for a visa before their trip to China.

From 00:00 on March 14, 2024 to 24:00 (UTC+8 Beijing time) on November 30, 2024, holders of valid ordinary passports from Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg travelling to China for trade, tourism, family visit and transit purposes are visa-free for up to 15 days. 

Holders of ordinary passports of the 6 above-mentioned countries who travel to China for any other reason or for the stay exceeding 15 days as well as holders of service passports of Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg must always apply for a visa before their trip to China
