Explanatory Notice on Document Requirements for Visa Application and Interview
To better assist applicants in learning about document requirements for the visa application and interview process, and to avoid unnecessary losses of time and financial resources, the Embassy publishes the following criteria. Applicants are requested to submit authentic, valid, and verifiable documents.

Cases subject to rejection for online amendment
|
Cases subject to termination of the online application
|
|
Errors in basic information on the form (passport number, name, date of birth, etc.) |
Documents deemed questionable, falsified, or inconsistent with the purpose of the application, including but not limited to: invitation letter, bank statements, itinerary, Form JW202/DQ, etc. |
|
Incomplete or non-compliant applications |
Problems related to financial resources, including: 1. Bank statements showing insufficient funds for the past 6 months, deemed unable to cover expenses in China 2. Large deposit transactions just before the visa application 3. Insufficient balance 4. Financial guarantor deemed to have no stable income |

Incorrect or inconsistent information in the application |
Untraceable or invalid JW202/DQ form, expired registration date, and missing information such as specializations and financial guarantor duly indicated on the JW202/DQ form |

Other cases requiring amendment |
Passport validity less than 6 months |
|
|
The applicant has not corrected the information or submitted the required documents after rejection, or the resubmitted documents are deemed useless |
|
Concealment of travel history in China |
|
|
Refusal based on current domestic policies |
|
|
Cases leading to the termination of the interview and visa refusal |
|
|
1. Inappropriate or uncooperative attitude |
|
|
2. Unable to explain the purpose or itinerary |
|
|
3. Inconsistent answers with the documents or information provided on the application form |
|
|
4. Vague, contradictory answers, or answers showing signs of improvisation or fabrication |
|
|
5. Financial guarantor deemed to lack stable income |
|
|
6. Unable to present a clear and planned study program or structured academic record |
|
|
7. Insufficient language skills, resulting in an inability to communicate in basic Chinese or English |
