Precautions for Chinese Visa Application
Things to note when applying for Macao Visa Center:
(1) All options involved in the application form must be completed truthfully and completely. If they are incomplete or not completed as required, visa approval will be affected. If applicant information is not complete, the center will not be able to accept applications. Please complete the preparation of all relevant information before applying.
(2) The employers guarantee letter should truthfully state that the domestic helper accompanies the employer to the address in Mainland China or Hong Kong. Depending on your actual application status, the center has the right to require you to provide additional information (such as car/plane/boat, hotel orders, etc.)
(3) All foreign applicants holding the Macao Special Administrative Region Foreign Employee Identification Card (commonly referred to as the "Blue Card") are required to scan the QR code on the Blue Card and print the validity date for submission; The original company letter/guarantee letter provided by professional and non-professional employees is valid for 30 days. If the date of travel is stated on the company letter, it must match the date of travel on the application form.
(4) The applicants photo should be a 1.5-inch, white-background ID photo taken within the past 6 months. Earrings, earrings, collars and other jewelry are not allowed to be worn, and facial features cannot be blocked (please refer to the photo upload criteria for filling out the application form for detailed requirements).
(5) The visa application center adopts a first-charge model. Applicants must pay the visa fee and service fee in full on the spot after submitting their applications at the visa application center. If the visa application is not approved by the Commissioners Office in Macao, or the visa is rejected, or the number of entry times, validity period, and stay period are changed, the visa fee paid will be based on the actual situation, but the service fee will not be refunded.
(6) The Visa Application Center does not participate in the approval process of Chinese visas; The Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao decides whether to issue visas, what kind of visas to be issued and the validity period of visas, etc. in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the PRC. The visa officer has the right to request supplementary files or interviews from the applicant.
(%1) The Macao Visa Application Center only accepts applications for ordinary escort visas. The processing time is generally 4 working days, and the expedited processing takes 3 working days. If the visa officer requires supplementary materials or is under review, your collection date will be delayed
