In order to better serve China-Mexico exchanges and provide applicants with more comfortable and convenient visa application conditions, as well as more professional and efficient consular document services, as of XX/2024, applicants with ordinary Mexican passports and other nationalities applying for Chinese visa or Hong Kong and Macao visa will be required to submit their applications at the Visa Center in Mexico. Important suggestion:

Diplomatic or official passports, or applicants for Chinese diplomatic, courtesy or official visas, should continue to submit their applications directly to the Consular Section of the Embassy of China in Mexico, which will continue to accept applications for notarized authentication, passports and travel documents.

The Visa Application Center is not involved in the visa approval process. The consular officer at the Embassy will decide on the issuance of the visa and its validity, the period of stay and the number of entries based on the applicant's particular circumstances. Depending on the circumstances, the consular officer may ask the applicant to submit additional supporting documents or materials or ask the applicant to attend to an interview.
