Notice on the Launch of Two-Way Mailing Service
Dear Applicants,
To further enhance our service quality, streamline the Chinese visa application process, and address the practical difficulties faced by applicants outside Mexico City—such as high travel costs and long processing times—the Mexico City Center will officially launch a Two-Way Mailing Service starting from July 13, 2026, building upon the existing One-Way Mailing Service. (This means applicants can mail their passports and Visa Application Receipts to the Center, and the Center will return the passports by mail.)
I. Scope of Service
This service is available only to short-term Chinese visa applicants who have passed the online review and are not required to provide fingerprints. For information on fingerprint exemption policies, please click here.
II. Fee Schedule
One-Way Mailing Service Fee: MXN 1,387 (tax included) + Postage: MXN 280 = Total: MXN 1,667
Two-Way Mailing Service Fee: MXN 1,850 (tax included) + Postage: MXN 280 = Total: MXN 2,130
III. Service Procedure
1. After passing the online review, applicants should contact the Center via email to request the Two-Way Mailing Service. Email address: mexicocitycenter@visaforchina.org;
2. The Center will send the Risk Acknowledgment Letter and account information via email, and calculate the total fee based on the approved visa type and the service selected.
3. Applicants must sign and return the Risk Acknowledgment Letter, and pay the full amount via bank transfer.
4. Applicants mail the following documents to the Center’s office address:
- Original passport
- One visa photo
- Visa Application Certificate
- Return Mailing Information Form (download here)
5. Upon receipt of the documents, the Center will assist in submitting the passport and completing subsequent procedures.
6. Once the visa is approved, the Center will affix the visa sticker and return the passport to the applicant by mail.
