本签证中心服务区域：渥太华地区、纽芬兰和拉布拉多省、新斯科舍省、爱德华王子岛省和努纳武特。
1、渥太华中国签证申请服务中心已启用中国签证在线审核平台。申请人须登录中国签证申请服务中心网站www.visaforchina.cn 选择“Canada, Ottawa”，在线填写《签证申请表》并上传签证材料，待网上审核通过后，再前往签证中心递交材料。具体通知请点击这里查看。

3、为进一步便利签证申请人，自即日起至2026年12月31日，中国驻加拿大使馆对所有申请停留期180日以内的短期签证申请人，免采指纹。
对D字、J1字、Q1字、S1字、X1字及Z字等入境后需办理居留证件的签证申请人，仍按规定采集指纹。

若申请人符合免采集指纹要求，可通过邮寄递交申请或委托他人代为递交申请。中心提供双向及单向回邮服务。申请人需提前购买已预付邮资的带tracking number的回邮信封（Canada Post, UPS)。免采指纹要求请见中心网站。目前我中心不要求预约，申请人待网上审核通过后，再前往签证中心递交材料或邮寄材料。
短期探亲签证（Q2 字签证）发给赴中国短期（在中国境内停留不超过 180 日）探亲的居住在中国境内的中国公民的亲属和具有中国永久居留资格的外国人的亲属。
Short-term family visit visa (Q2-visa) is issued to those who intend to visit relatives who are Chinese citizens residing in China or foreigners with permanent residence in China。The intended duration of stay is limited to no more than 180 days.

1、申请人护照原件，有效期半年以上，且至少有 2 张空白签证页。 Original passport valid for at least 6 months, with 2 or more blank visa pages. 注意：如果您拥有多个国籍，您需要提供您拥有的所有国籍的有效护照。 |

2、护照资料页，上次中国签证及前本护照资料页（如有）。 The passport information page , previous Chinese visa, previous passport first page (if applicable). |

4、居住在中国境内的中国公民或具有中国永久居留资格的外国公民出具的邀请函件。该邀请函须包含以下事项： （1）被邀请人个人信息：姓名、性别、出生日期、护照号码等； （2）被邀请人来华信息：来华目的、抵离日期、逗留地点、与邀请人关系、在华期间费用来源等； （3）邀请人信息：姓名、联系电话、地址等。 邀请函可以是传真件、复印件或打印件，但领事官员可能要求申请人提供邀请函原件。 An invitation letter provided by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent residence permit. The invitation letter should contain: a) Information of the applicant (incl. full name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc); b) Information regarding the visit (incl. purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relationship between the applicant and the inviting party, and details of any financial support to be provided during the stay in China); c) Information of the inviting party (incl. name, contact number, address). The invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but the consular officer may require the applicant to submit the original of the invitation letter. |

必要时，领事官员可根据情况要求申请人提供其他证明文件或补充材料，或要求与申请人面谈。领事官员根据申请人的具体情况决定是否颁发签证及签证的有效期、停留期限和入境次数。加急服务须经领事官员批准，将加收费用。
If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant. The consular officer will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant. Express service needs approval of consular officials, and extra fees may apply.
温馨提示：
1、填写申请表需上传合格的数字照片，照片要求请见中心网站。若上传不成功，可重复上传多次，之后可继续填表，系统会提示照片上传不成功，提交申请时须提供合格的纸质照片。
2、申请表中的个人信息须与护照上的个人信息完全一致，否则，中心不予受理，需要重新填表。
3、点击“提交”后，方才完成在线填表。
特别提醒：
（一）邀请函可以是传真件、复印件或打印件，但领事官员可能要求申请人提供邀请函原件。中国境内中国公民个人出具邀请函需提供个人身份证双面，外国公民出具的邀请函需提供邀请人护照信息页和在华居留许可。
（二）必要时，领事官员可根据情况要求申请人提供其他证明文件或补充材料，或要求申请人接受面谈。
（三）领事官员根据申请人的具体情况决定是否颁发签证及颁发签证的入境有效期、入境次数和停留期限。
