In accordance with the notification issued by the Chinese Consulate in Dubai, starting from the 1st August 2020, the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Dubai will use online system for submitting application forms and booking appointments. If you choose to submit your application in the visa centre in Dubai, please read the steps illustrated below carefully:

1.Navigate to the website.Navigate to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre’s website, and select Dubai, UAE in order to arrive at the Dubai Centre’s homepage.

2. Read the specific‘Step by Step Guidance’ section’s informationregarding your particular purpose of visit and your visa requirements.

3.Fill intheapplication form online.Enter the‘Quick Access’ section from the homepage, and then select ‘Online Application Form’to fill in your application form online. The online application form will require you to upload a recent standard photograph (please check here for photograph requirements).

Please note:

1)     Please be aware that from the 1st September 2020 onward, the Chinese Consulate in Dubai will no longer accept the old version of the application form.

2)     Please ensure that you have uploaded the correct photograph of the person detailed in the application form when filling in the online application and fill in the correct informationcompletely. The visa centre will reject any applicationifthe information filled in theForm is obviously wrong,incomplete, or inaccurate, then a new application formand the newappointmentwill be requested.

3)     If the online form indicates that the photo cannot be uploaded successfully, you can continue to fill in the next step after several photo uploading attempts. If the online form finally indicates that the photo is not qualified, please be sure to bring an appropriate photograph to the centre when you come to submit your application.

4.Print and sign.After filling in the application form, please print out theConfirmation of Online Visa Application and Visa Application Form of the People’s Republic of China,thensign on thebottom of the Confirmation of Online Visa Applicationand the 8th pageof the Visa Application Form of the People’s Republic of China.

5.Make anappointmentonline.Enter the ‘Online Appointment’ section, fill in the application form number which is automatically generated and is started with ‘DXB’. Choose a time slot and finish the appointment booking. The system will automatically send you a confirmation email. Please print out the confirmation email or screenshot the appointment time information and show your appointment while you arrive at Dubai Visa Centre. Normally, the visa centre can't accept any application without an appointment.If you wish to bring more than one application with your appointment, you must ensure that you have entered all application form numbers for all applications under the appointment number. One appointment can be booked for up to five applications. If an application form has not been uploaded to the appointment, you will not be able to submit the application on that day and a new appointment will be required for a later date.

6. Submit at the Visa Center.Please arrive at the visa center on time according to the appointment time, and show the appointment form at thereception, the printed and signed Confirmation of Online Visa Application and Visa Application Form of the People’s Republic of China,original passport and other visa application materials. The center willissue the queue numberforyou, then pleaseenter the lobby to wait for the number to be called.
