Any false or incomplete information provided by the applicant will be considered as visa fraud and will result in visa rejection or refusal of entry.2. Submit your documents at visa center-On the date of appointment, applicants should submit the application documents in visa center along with other documents for the application of visa.
-Applicants should entry fingerprint in person when submitting the documents.-Please present the appointment ticket to the staff in visa center and follow the instruction of the staff in center.-Please prepare all the required documents as listed below in proper sequence to make the process easy and faster during the application.

- Passport: A passport with more than 6 months of validity and minimum 2 blank visa pages.
- Visa application form: Visa application form should be filled online as mentioned above, (URL:https://bio.visaforchina.org/#/nav/quickSelection?visacenterCode=KTM2&request_locale=en_US&site_alias=KTM2_EN) , print out the confirmation page and the application form, and the confirmation page and the application form at the end should be signed by the applicants.
- A copy of the most recent Chinese visa and residence permit (if any).
- A full-faced color paper photo clicked within half a year, with a white or nearly white background and no borders is accepted. The photo size should be 48mm x 33mm, the head width is 21mm-24mm, and the length is 28mm-33mm. - The applicant must be in Nepal when applying for a visa. For citizens from a third country, valid Nepali visa is required.
- Original and photocopy of previous Chinese passport(for foreign citizens of Chinese origin applying for Chinese visa for the first time), in case of holding previous Chinese passport and Chinese visa page are required.
2. Other documents required for different visa types
C Visa (for crew members)Letter of Guarantee issued by overseas services companies.
D Visa (for residing in China permanently)The original and photocopy of the Confirmation Form for "Foreigners Permanent Residence Status" issued by the Ministry of Public Security of China.*Holders of D Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.
F Visa (for short-term exchanges, visits or study tours)Invitation letter from the inviter in China which contain:---Information on the invitee (full name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.);---Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the invitee and the inviter, financial source for expenditures etc.);---Information on the inviter (inviter’s name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviter).
G Visa (for transit through China)
(1) Valid visa of country of destination.(2) Confirmed connected air/train/ship ticket to destination country.
J1 Visa (for foreign journalists stationed in China for more than 180 days)
Visa Notification Letter issued by the Information Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China
J2 Visa (for foreign journalists going to China for short-term coverage)Visa Notification Letter issued by the Information Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or other authorized unit in China.
L visa (for going to China as a tourist)
(1) Air ticket booking(round trip), hotel reservation in relevant cities in China and daily itinerary, or invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in china which contain:
① Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.;
② Information on the planned visit : arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, financial source of expenses, etc.;
③ Information on the Inviter’s : name, contact phone number, address, official stamp, signature of the the legal representative or the inviter, etc.
If invited by Chinese individual, Chinese individual's passport and ID card' photocopy are required.(2)Personal bank statement of last three months (for first time applicants).
M Visa (for going to China for commercial and trade activities)Documents on the commercial activity or trade fair invitation or other invitation letters issued by a trade partner in China which contain:---Information on the invitee (full name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.);
---Information on the planned visit (purpose of visit, arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, relations between the invitee and the inviter, financial source for expenditures etc.);---Information on the inviter (inviter’s name, contact telephone number, address, official stamp, signature of the legal representative or the inviter). For first-time applicants, extra documents required:---Company registration & PAN registration;
---Recommendation letter from the sending Nepali company;---Personal or company’s bank statement of the last three months (balance more than 2 lakhs).
Q1 Visa (for visiting family members of Chinese citizens or foreigners with Chinese permanent residence, intended duration of stay exceeding 180 days)*Family members refers to spouse, parents, sons and daughters, spouses of sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandsons and granddaughters, parents-in law.(1) An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreigner with Chinese permanent residence status, the invitation letter must contain the following contents:
① Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.;
② Invitee's visit information: reason for coming to China, intended date of arrival, intended place of residence, intended period of stay, relationship with the inviter, source of expenses, etc.;
③ Inviter’s information: name, phone number, address, signature of the inviter, etc.
(2) A copy of the inviter's Chinese ID card (both sides) or a copy of the foreigner's passport and permanent residence permit;(3) The original and photocopy of the proof of family relationship between the applicant and the inviter (marriage certificate, birth certificate, proof of kinship issued by the police station or respective governmental departments or notarized kinship certificate, etc.). The certificate of kinship should be authenticated at the embassy of China in Nepal if issued in Nepal or other countries;(*Holders of Q1 Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.)
Q2 Visa (for visiting relatives who are Chinese citizens or foreigners with Chinese permanent residence, intended duration of stay no more than 180 days)(1) An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreigner with Chinese permanent residence status, the invitation letter must contain the following contents:
① Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.;
② Invitee's visit information: reason for coming to China, intended date of arrival, intended place of residence, intended period of stay, relationship with the inviter, source of expenses, etc.;
③ Inviter’s information: name, phone number, address, signature of the inviter, etc.
(2) A copy of the inviter's Chinese ID card (for overseas Chinese, Chinese from Macao, Hongkong and Taiwan residents, Photocopy of passport, Reentry permit, Mainland travel permit for Taiwan residents and working/residing certificate of more than 6 months in China), or a copy of the foreigner's passport and permanent residence permit;
R Visa (for high-level talents or whose skills are urgently needed in China)

S1 Visa (for visiting foreigners working or studying in China to whom they are spouses, parents, sons or daughters under the age of 18 or parents-in-law, intended stay in Chine exceeds 180 days)If the inviter is currently working or studying in China:(1) An invitation letter issued by a foreigner with with valid Chinese work visa/work residence permit or X1 visa/student residence permit, the invitation letter must contain the following contents:
① Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.;
② Invitee's visit information: reason for coming to China, intended date of arrival, intended place of residence, intended period of stay, relationship with the inviter, source of expenses, etc.;
③ Inviter’s information: name, phone number, address, signature of the inviter, etc.
(2) Photocopy of the inviter's passport and residence permit;(3) The original and photocopy of the proof of family relationship between the applicant and the inviter (marriage certificate, birth certificate, proof of kinship issued by the police station or respective governmental departments or notarized kinship certificate, etc.). The certificate of kinship should be authenticated at the embassy of China in Nepal if issued in Nepal or other countries;If the applicant applies visa with foreigner who applies X1 visa or Z visa together:(1)Photocopy of application documents of X1 visa or Z visa;(2)The original and photocopy of the proof of family relationship between the applicant and the inviter (marriage certificate, birth certificate, proof of kinship issued by the police station or respective governmental departments or notarized kinship certificate, etc.). The certificate of kinship should be authenticated at the embassy of China in Nepal if issued in Nepal or other countries;(3)Declaration letter issued by related entity in China.If applicant is relative of J1 visa holder and goes to China with J1 holder:
Visa Notification Letter issued by the Information Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China
(*Holders of S1 Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.)
S2 Visa (for visiting foreigners working or studying in China, intended stay in Chine no more than 180 days)*Family members refers to spouse, parents, sons and daughters, spouses of sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandsons and granddaughters, parents-in law.For short family visit:
(1) An invitation letter issued by the inviter ( a foreigner who stays or resides in China for work or studies), the invitation letter must contain the following contents:
① Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number etc.;
② Invitee's visit information: reason for coming to China, intended date of arrival, intended place of residence, intended period of stay, relationship with the inviter, source of expenses, etc.;
③ Inviter’s information: name, phone number, address, signature of the inviter, etc.
(2) Photocopy of the inviter's passport and residence permit;(3) Photocopy of the proof of family relationship between the applicant and the inviter (marriage certificate, birth certificate, proof of kinship issued by the police station or respective governmental departments or notarized kinship certificate, etc.).For private affairs, documentation identifying the nature of the private affairs should be provided as required by the consular officer.
X1 Visa (for studying in China for more than 180 days)
(1) For freshmen, photocopy of the "Confirmation Form for Study in China"(Form JW201 or JW202) and the admission notice of the school are required.
(2) For returning students, photocopy of the previous X1 visa and study residence permit and the original of "Studying Certificate" are required.
(*Holders of X1 Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.)
X2 Visa (for studying in China for no more than 180 days)
(1) Photocopy of the admission notice letter of the school;
(2) Photocopy of Information Form for Foreign Students' Short-term Visit(Form DQ)(if any).
Z Visa (for working in China)
One of the following materials:
(1) Notification Letter of Foreigner’s Work Permit in the PRC.
(2) Original of valid Work Permit Card for Foreigners.
*Holders of Z Visa shall, within 30 days from the date of their entry, apply to the exit/entry administrations of public security organs under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigners' residence permits.
Special reminder:
(1)Invitation letter may be in the form of fax, photocopy or computer printout, but consular officers may require submission of the original of the invitation.
(2)If necessary, consular officers may require the application to provide other proof documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.
(3)consular officers will decide on whether or not to issue the visa and on its validity, duration of stay and number of entries in light of specific conditions of the applicant.
Note:
the consular officers has the right to ask the applicant to provide other proof documents, supplementary materials, or to have an interview at the Embassy.
